So with that said, I’ll try again. I had a boss once that hated the word “try” because it indicated to him an escape from actually doing something. Yoda said “Do, or do not. There is no 'try”. Not sure I can do this blogging thing so I will continue to “try”. J
My favorite times are time with all of you my family! I am grateful for the time we have together and sorry to see Emily move away but she promises to be back regularly. She already called me to get one of her “Dad’s” jokes right so she could re-tell it correctly. I love those kinds of calls! Adam is now serving as first counselor in his bishopric. He will be awesome as a leader. Maggie is the best mother I know. Robynn & Glen have moved closer and we’ve seen them more lately. Cameron and the boys seem to be doing well with their struggles (keep it up Cam). We had some time in Hurricane with Eric, Tobin and their kids a few weeks ago. They are sure fun to be around. Lisa has become a master gardener and is teaching her son Logan to recognize the vegetable plants. John is serving as second counselor in his bishopric and just today blessed his new daughter.
Janet and I are working to finish updating our new home in South Jordan and looking forward to living there when it’s complete. I promised Janet we would add onto the back of the house to make the kitchen bigger as part of the purchase negotiations. Later I tried to renege and was unsuccessful. So an addition is about done, the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. New floor coverings are in process and the whole house is about done being painted. Whew! Now we are down to the small but never ending tasks to finish the project. I look forward to the day when I am looking for a project but nothing needs to be done. Will that ever happen? Probably not. Oh well.

ReplyDeleteI've been blog hopping today and found yours. I just wanted to tell you how nice it is to have you in the family. Thank you for all that you have done to help us, for your love and concern. Did I ever thank you for helping me hang cabinets in my garage? Thanks :)
